Real Estate Market Place
Real Estate can be volatile at times.  Peace time in the market, can be good depending on your position.  In 2008, when the market bottomed, some savvy investors were able to take advantage of some really good opportunities. On the same token, some investors, lost everything.  Fortunately, some of them have recovered and moved on.  If you plan to buy or sell in the market place, my advise would be to "plan".  In so planning, you should do your research which includes knowing historical data, market trends and the economic climate.  You need to know what has happened in the market in the past in order to properly gauge future market events.  As uncertain as the market can be at times, it's still more stable than the stock market.  If you don't trust your ability to understand market waves, you can always rely on your local Real Estate Professional.
